Why Foundayo users track

A daily pill is easy to miss

Foundayo is taken once a day. Shotsy's daily reminders and home-screen widgets keep your dose visible, so a missed pill gets caught the same day.

Titration takes months

Most people step through several doses, from 0.8 mg up to as high as 17.2 mg, spending at least 30 days at each level. Tracking how you respond at every step gives you and your prescriber real data for the next dose decision.

Side effects follow patterns

Nausea, constipation, and appetite changes can cluter in the immediate days after a dose increase. Logging symptoms alongside your dose history reveals those patterns.

Missed pills show up fast

Orforglipron has a half-life of roughly one to two days, much shorter than weekly injectables, so your medication level fades more quickly with a missed dose. Seeing your estimated level helps explain why appetite can rebound after skipped days, and helps you get back on track.

How Shotsy tracks your Foundayo journey

One-tap pill logging with smart reminders

Log each daily pill in seconds. Reminders and home-screen widgets help you to always know whether you took your pill for the day.

Estimated orforglipron levels between doses

Using the published half-life for orforglipron, which is roughly 29 to 49 hours, Shotsy's eestimated medication levels chart shows you how your estimated levels rise and fade between daily doses. The chart can display multiple medications at once which is helpful for users who take multiple medications or who switch medications.

Progress charts by dosage

Shotsy breaks your weight trend down by dosage, so you can see how your body responded at 2.5 mg versus 5.5 mg. Shotsy is the only GLP-1 tracker with charts that display this information.

Side effects tied to your dose timeline

Track nausea, fatigue, constipation, migrations, food noise, and more, with severity and notes. Because symptoms sit on the same timeline as your doses, you can easily spot which side effect follows a dose change.

Built for GLP-1 medication switchers

Moving to Foundayo from Zepbound, Ozempic, Wegovy, or Mounjaro? Shotsy supports multiple medications with separate schedules and can show multiple medications on the estimated level chart during a transition, so nothing gets lost in the switch.

What GLP-1 users say about Shotsy

★★★★★

Extremely helpful!

“This is a super helpful, extremely detailed way to keep track of your progress while you’re using a GLP-1. I find it fascinating to correlate the estimated medication level in my body vs. what I may be experiencing, and it’s interesting to see the graph of my progress! Highly recommend!”

★★★★★

Easy to use & helpful

“In addition to tracking my protein, macros, hydration, weight, etc. I was hesitant to get another tracking app. But I found it very difficult to keep track of all my medication dosing (not just GLP-1) without it. This app is easy to use and has places for all the data necessary. I will continue to use it throughout this journey. Highly recommend!”

Foundayo basics: what to know while you track

Foundayo (orforglipron) is a once-daily pill from Eli Lilly, approved by the FDA on April 1, 2026 for adults with obesity, or overweight with a weight-related medical condition, alongside diet and exercise. It is the first small-molecule, non-peptide GLP-1 receptor agonist: it activates the same GLP-1 receptors as injectable medications, reducing appetite and slowing digestion, but in a pill that can be taken at any time of day with no restrictions on food or water. Foundayo tablets are swallowed whole.

In the 72-week ATTAIN clinical trials, which enrolled more than 4,500 adults, participants taking the highest dose of Foundayo lost an 27.3 pounds on average, or about 12.4% of body weight. The most common side effects are digestive: nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, indigestion, stomach pain, belching, heartburn, and gas. Other side effects include headache, tiredness, and hair loss.

Foundayo dose schedule

Foundayo starts low and steps up gradually. Per the FDA prescribing information, treatment begins at 0.8 mg once daily for at least 30 days, then increases through 2.5 mg and 5.5 mg, with further increases to 9 mg, 14.5 mg, or 17.2 mg allowed after at least 30 days at the current dose. Shotsy tracks your doses and charts your progress by dosage.

Dose Fase Duração típica
0.8 mg Starting dose First 30 days
2.5 mg Step 2 At least 30 days
5.5 mg Step 3 At least 30 days
9 mg Step up if needed At least 30 days
14.5 mg Step up if needed At least 30 days
17.2 mg Maximum dose Ongoing

Foundayo tracker: frequently asked questions

Is there an app to track Foundayo?

Yes. Shotsy is a Foundayo tracker app for iPhone and Android. It logs your daily orforglipron pill and dose, sends reminders so you won't miss a day, and has estimated medication level charts, weight charts color-coded by dosage dosage, and side effect charts.

Do I have to take Foundayo on an empty stomach?

No. Per the FDA label, Foundayo can be taken at any time of day with no restrictions on food or water. Oral semaglutide has different instructions; see our oral Wegovy tracker if you take the Wegovy pill. Foundayo tablets should be swallowed whole.

Is Shotsy free for Foundayo tracking?

Yes. Pill logging, reminders, side effect logging, and weight tracking are all free. An optional upgrade adds advanced analytics.

Does Shotsy support every Foundayo dose?

Yes. Shotsy supports all six Foundayo doses, from 0.8 mg through 2.5 mg, 5.5 mg, 9 mg, and 14.5 mg up to 17.2 mg.

Does Shotsy track Foundayo side effects?

Yes. You can log nausea, fatigue, constipation, fatigue, food noise, and other symptoms with severity ratings and notes. Side effects are charted on the same timeline as your doses, which makes dose-change patterns easier to discuss with your prescriber.

What happens if I switch from an injectable GLP-1 to Foundayo?

Shotsy supports multiple medications with separate schedules, so a switch from an injectable GLP-1 such as Ozempic, Wegovy, Zepbound, or Mounjaro is easy, and the estimated level chart can display both medications during the transition.

Can an app tell me my exact orforglipron level?

No. Shotsy estimates your medication level using the published half-life for orforglipron, which is roughly 29 to 49 hours. The chart is context for why appetite and side effects shift between doses, not a measurement, and it is never a substitute for your prescriber's guidance.

Can I share my Foundayo history with my doctor?

Yes. Shotsy exports a PDF report of your doseage history, side effects, and weight trends, so you can bring it to your appointments or send to your provider.
